Introduction
PlaNetweavers is more than
a gift store; it is an experience in discovery.
Since it's inception, in August of 1990, PlaNetweavers Treasure
Store has been a shopping destination, a home for both residents
and tourists in San Francisco. We have continued to evolve, creating
a space that is charged
with excitement and love, color and scent, music and learning.
Our Commitment
Our commitment to our customer is to provide a unique
and exploratory shopping experience,
that not only satisfies the initial need that drives one to shop,
but also inspires, nurtures,
and delights. Our focus is dual
- to provide the most attentive and friendly customer service
possible, and to offer the most amazing variety and artistry in
merchandise that one might find in a single location.
Merchandise
We select each item that
fills our store with extreme care and deliberation,
asking ourselves, is it fun, wild, sensational? Does it promote
positivity in humans and in the environment? Will it inspire and
benefit the person who buys it? In the end, we bring together
a wide variety of healing, artistic, thought provoking, fun, soothing,
and educational merchandise that can be enjoyed by all.
Community Participation
We are strongly committed to global
fair trade, supporting the environment, multicultural showcasing,
and serving our community through non-profit donations.
We proudly stock UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) cards
and calendars, and contribute 90% of the proceeds directly to
UNICEF. The organizations that we have helped in the past include,

More than anything, PlaNetweavers is a place where people can
feel at home. Everyone is welcome, all ages, nations, and artistic
styles. It is a place where you can wander the aisles, experiment
with new lotions and body oils, listen to music from around the
world, learn things about different cultures through their art,
play with puppets and toys, find your rhythm with musical instruments,
and read books, relaxing in the hanging chairs. It is a place
where you can find yourself, and where you can find gifts for
the ones you love. It is a place where you belong.
